Dr. Sandra A. Stroot, a full professor at The Ohio State University, has been at Ohio State since 1987, after graduating from the University of Northern Colorado. Her work was initially focused on the socialization processes of entry – year teachers, and her interest in collaborative partnerships has offered extensive involvement in a variety of innovative programs and practices in the school settings. She is interested in examining the collaborative processes and the impact of various reform efforts in Ohio, such as Urban Education and STEM-based Education. She is the PI on a Teacher Quality Partnership Grant and is Project Director for the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship program at Ohio State. Dr. Stroot is particularly interested in studying the relationship between educational policy, teacher knowledge, teacher practice, instructional technology, and student achievement.
