Congratulations, Keevyn!

We at PAST so proud of and happy for Keevyn Baden-Winterwood who recently was awarded a scholarship from VentureNext. Keevyn was recognized for the design and development of a doorstop to be used by firefighters that will allow safe access when fighting fires.

Keevyn, a senior at Metro Early College High School in Columbus, OH, has not finalized his plans for college (Ohio State, Eckerd College and Clarkson University are all in the running) but the $2500 scholarship will certainly be put to good use.

Dr. Andy Bruening, one of Keevyn’s teachers at Metro, said, “Keevyn is a very creative and innovative thinker and he is always trying to improve products and designs. He will come up with a new idea for something, or a way to improve it. I can usually find him printing something new on the 3D printer.”

It has been our pleasure to watch Keevyn and we look forward to hearing about all he achieves at college and beyond.

Great job, Keevyn!
