We would like to invite you to a two-day summit for all Central Ohio K-12 Fab Lab directors and teacher leaders on June 8 and June 9, 2015 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The purpose of this Summit is to develop best practices around operating a mobile and/or static fab lab in the K-12 space, including resource identification, material vendors, mobile scheduling, and safety and security. We will also share out what activities, implementation practices, student learning events and teacher trainings were effective during the 2014-15 school year. The two-day Summit will culminate in the first annual “Fabitat for Humanity,” where participants will help establish a new maker’s space at Baldwin STEM Middle in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
There is no cost to attending this Straight A-funded Summit. We ask that you RSVP no later than May 15, 2015 by clicking here.
If you have any questions about the Summit, please reach out!
