About this Program

"Beyond the Game - Unlocking Esports" is a summer experience that goes beyond the game to explore the multifaceted world of Esports! Join us for an immersive experience where gaming enthusiasts not only play games but delve into the game play strategy, healthy gaming habits, and career aspects of the quickly growing Esports landscape. Program Highlights: 1. Career Pathway Exploration: Discover the diverse career opportunities within the world of Esports. From professional gaming to game development and event management, explore the potential pathways that align with participants interests. 2. Gameplay Strategies: Enhance gaming skills by learning advanced strategies, teamwork dynamics, and effective communication techniques crucial for success in competitive gaming environments. 3. Leadership Development: Cultivate leadership qualities that extend beyond the gaming arena. Develop teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving skills that are valuable both in-game and in real-world scenarios. 4. Industry Insights: Gain insights into the rapidly evolving Esports industry. Learn about the business side, including sponsorships, events, and the global impact of competitive gaming. 5. Friendships and Fun: Forge lasting friendships with like-minded peers who share passion for gaming. Enjoy a fun and supportive environment that encourages collaboration, sportsmanship, and personal growth. 6. Project Showcase: Conclude the program by showcasing achievements by demonstrating newfound skills and innovations to family and friends. You will receive an email a week prior to the start of the program with information regarding location, paperwork, drop off and pick up time, along with the culminating program presentation information. Cancellation Policy

Minimum Registration Requirement: If registration for a program offering is less than the minimum number (10), the program will not be offered at that time. Registration cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via phone call or email. PAST must cancellation requests no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the event/program. After the above deadline, no refunds of any type, including no-shows, are given. Any fees associated with a credit card payment will be assessed before submitting a refund. Requests may be e-mailed to purchasing@pastfoundation.org or mailed to 1003 Kinnear Road, Columbus, OH, and must include the following information: - Registrant's name and email address - Event/program name and date(s) Extraordinary Circumstance: Exception to the rules above — Refunds may be granted if a registrant is unable to attend the event/program due to a family death, or other extraordinary circumstance. In such a circumstance, please contact PAST by email with the specifics of the situation. A review shall be conducted by PAST management. Decision on whether approval was granted shall be emailed to the requestor. PAST reserves the right to modify this Cancellation/Refund Policy at its discretion.
